Royal Dutch Shell Plc discovered natural gas in Libya’s Sirte basin, where it owns a concession, Reuters said, citing Nureddin Wafati, a Shell Exploration and Production Libya official.
The company plans to continue drilling to determine if the reserves are commercially viable, the news agency reported yesterday.
