Slovenian Banks’ Exposure to Builders Grows, Finance Reports

Slovenian banks’ loans to the ailing construction industry have risen by 183 million euros ($240 million) this year to 2.44 billion euros, Finance newspaper reported, citing the central bank.

The amount represents 11.4 percent of all loans to non-financial companies, compared with 10.8 percent in 2009, the Ljubljana-based newspaper said.
