SAP AG co-founder Klaus Tschira would sell his 8.4 percent stake in the software company at the right price, Capital Magazine reported, citing the investor.

Tschira said he couldn’t imagine selling to Hewlett Packard Co., the German magazine reported in the January edition published today. Capital also cited Co-Chief Executive Officer Jim Hagemann Snabe as saying he hopes to win “several hundred” new customers for the company’s Business By Design on-demand software by the time the group holds its Sapphire customer conference in May 2011.
