Cameroon Arabica Farmgate Prices Rise 2% in Week to Dec. 14

Cameroon’s arabica coffee farmgate prices increased 2 percent during the week to Dec. 14, according to the North West Cooperative Association.

The average price rose to 1,022 CFA francs ($2.08) per kilogram (2.2 pounds), from 1,002 francs a week earlier, said Waindim Timothy, administration and personnel manager of the cooperative in an e-mail from Bamenda, 400 kilometers (248 miles) northwest of the capital, Yaounde.
