Ukraine’s barley harvest may rise 25 percent next year given average yields and an unchanged planted area, UkrAgroConsult said.

The barley crop may be 11 million metric tons a year from now, compared with the 8.8 million tons expected this year after cleaning and drying, the Kiev-based researcher said in e-mailed statement today. Farmers have harvested 8.87 million tons in crude weight so far, UkrAgroConsult said.
