Czech Stocks Drop From 4-Month High as NWR, Komercni Snap Rally

The Czech Republic’s main equity index dropped from a four-month high as coal producer New World Resources NV and lender Komercni Banka AS snapped earlier gains.

The PX gauge fell 0.8 percent to 1,188.50 at its 4:08 p.m. Prague close after rising 1.4 percent yesterday to the highest since Aug. 9. NWR tumbled 2.1 percent to 242.8 koruna and Komercni, the Czech unit of Societe Generale SA, lost 1.9 percent to 4,410 koruna.
