China Henan International Wins Mozambique Water Supply Tender

China Henan International Cooperation Group Co. won a 32 million-euro ($42.4 million) tender to upgrade water-supply facilities in Mozambique, an official from the urban water authority, known as Fipag, said.
The company will lay 100 kilometers (62 miles) of pipes to help boost water supply to three towns in the central Manica province to 40,000 cubic meters (1.4 million cubic feet) a day from 4,000 cubic meters, Sergio Cavadias, projects coordinator at Maputo-based Fipag, said in an interview today.
