VW May Build Second Russian Plant in Kaliningrad, Interfax Says

Volkswagen AG will consider building a car plant in the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, Interfax reported, citing a statement from the press service of the regional Economy Ministry.
Regional Economy Minister Yelena Pozhigailo and Jorg Bode, economy minister of the German state of Lower Saxony and a VW supervisory board member, agreed that a Volkswagen delegation will visit Kaliningrad in the first quarter 2011, according to the report. Lower Saxony owns 20 percent of the carmaker.
