German export growth will slow in the fourth quarter from the prior three months, Wirtschaftswoche magazine reported, citing an index it commissioned from the Munich-based Ifo economic institute.
Ifo’s October export climate index fell for a sixth straight month to 1.0, the lowest reading since December 2009, the magazine said in an e-mailed release. The index includes the euro’s exchange rate as well as business and consumer confidence indicators in Germany’s main export markets, it said.
