New Zealand house prices fell for a second month in October and sales dropped to the lowest level since January, adding to signs of a sluggish economic recovery.
Prices declined 0.9 percent from September, when they slipped 0.3 percent, according to an index published today by the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. House sales fell 36 percent from a year earlier to 3,903.
