Ukraine aims to build a liquefied natural gas terminal on the Black Sea by the end of 2016 as it seeks to reduce dependence on Russian supplies.

The terminal will cost $1.21 billion to $1.38 billion and will reduce dependence on Russia by around one-third, Ukraine’s National Project state body, the manager of the project, said in handout given to reporters today in Kiev.
