Chinese Government Starts Online Earth Map Service, Daily Says

China’s State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping started a free online mapping service yesterday, China Daily reported, citing bureau official Jiang Jie.
The site will be updated about twice a year, in contrast to Google Earth "that can update its infromation every couple of minutes through satellites," Jiang told the Daily.
