Swiss Stocks Advance; Syngenta, Richemont Gain as Actelion Falls

Swiss equities climbed as the benchmark Swiss Market Index extended its first weekly increase in a month, led by gains in Syngenta AG and Kuehne & Nagel.
Syngenta, the world’s largest maker of agricultural chemicals, rose 1.5 percent. Kuehne & Nagel International AG rose 2.5 percent as Nomura Holdings Inc. recommended the shares of the world’s largest sea-freight forwarder. Cie. Financiere Richemont increased 2.8 percent as Barclays Plc lifted its price estimate. Actelion Ltd. retreated 2.3 percent after jumping 23 percent last week.
