Jeep to Use Fiat’s Multiair Engine, Dealers, Corriere Says

Jeep, a Chrysler Group brand, will use Fiat SpA’s Powertrain Multiair engines and will distribute vehicles in Italy through Lancia dealerships, Mike Manley, head of the Jeep brand, told Corriere della Sera in an interview.
Manley said 40 percent of Jeep’s distribution in Italy will be through Lancia dealers, according to the newspaper. Jeep has a goal of doubling worldwide sales to 800,000 in 2014 from 400,000 this year, he reiterated.
