BP Plans to Finish Sealing of Macondo Well Tomorrow

BP Plc said it may bring the largest offshore oil spill in U.S. history to an end tomorrow by plugging its ruptured Gulf of Mexico well with a final shot of cement.
Crews began injecting the seal today after a relief well that intercepted the damaged Macondo well yesterday encountered no oil, gas or cement from a top-down plugging job in August, Daren Beaudo, a spokesman for London-based BP, said today in an e-mailed statement.
