Microsoft’s Bing Overtakes Yahoo as No. 2 U.S. Search Engine

Microsoft Corp.’s Bing overtook Yahoo! Inc. last month for the first time as the No. 2 search-engine provider in the U.S., according to Nielsen Co.

Bing had 13.9 percent of searches, while Yahoo had 13.1 percent, Nielsen said in an e-mailed statement. Google remained in first place with 65 percent.
