Jefferies Said to Hire Barclays Banker Frank Cicero

Jefferies Group Inc., the New York- based investment bank, hired Barclays Plc’s Frank Cicero, an adviser to savings institutions such as Toronto-Dominion Bank, said two people with knowledge of the matter.
Cicero will run Jefferies’s global financial-institutions group, and is joining the bank along with Jason Reid, another managing director from Barclays Capital, said one of the people, who declined to be identified because the moves haven’t been announced. Jefferies is also hiring Kenneth Usdin, an equity analyst at Bank of America Corp. who covers financials, according to the person.
