Slovenia’s export-led economy expanded on an annual basis for the first time in six quarters in the period from April to June on improved demand for its manufactured goods in Europe.

Gross domestic product advanced 2.2 percent, the first growth since the third quarter of 2008, after a 1.2 percent decline in the previous three months, the country’s statistics office in Ljubljana said today on its website. Seasonally adjusted GDP rose 1.1 percent from the previous quarter.
