European Commission Receives 19 National Renewable-Energy Plans

The European Union’s regulatory body has received 19 national renewable-energy action plans and will prepare legal action against the remaining eight EU countries if their strategies aren’t submitted “very soon,” Hans van Steen, head of a unit for renewable energy at the European Commission, said today in a presentation in Berlin.
