Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co., the Chinese partner of Daimler AG, plans to start selling commercial vehicles in India as economic expansion spurs demand for trucks.

“We see India as just like China, with tremendous opportunity,” Wang Dazong, president of the Chinese automaker, said today in New Delhi, where he is attending an industry conference. “Some of our products will be suitable for the market,” he said in an interview, without specifying when sales in India will begin.
