Tropical Storm Mindulle left four people dead and 10 missing in northern Vietnam as heavy rain and strong winds sank fishing vessels, destroyed rice crops and blew roofs of schools and clinics.

Twenty people were injured in the north of Vietnam while 15 fishing boats were sunk off the country’s east coast, according to a statement on the National Committee for Flood and Storm Control’s website. Floods submerged 24,960 hectares of rice fields worth “hundreds of millions of dong,” the government said. The storm also blew the roofs off 4,112 houses.
