Bundesbank board member Thilo Sarrazin says Germany is getting “smaller and dumber” after failing to confront “uncontrolled migration,” Bild newspaper said, citing from Sarrazin’s book due for publication Aug. 30.
“Economically, Germany is in the late part of a golden age that began in 1950 and is slowly coming to an end,” the newspaper cited Sarrazin as saying in excerpts from his book published in today’s edition. He says Germany’s ability to turn out educated people is declining, according to the excerpts.
