Deripaska May Borrow $6 Billion for Norilsk Buy, Vedomosti Says

Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska may borrow as much as $6 billion from state-run lender VTB Group to buy fellow OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel shareholder Vladimir Potanin’s 25 percent stake in the mining company, Vedomosti said.
Deripaska agreed to pledge as much as 45 percent of his En+ Group Ltd. as collateral for a loan from VTB, United Co. Rusal said in a regulatory filing yesterday. En+ owns 47 percent of Rusal, the world’s largest aluminum company.
