EU Carbon Permits Decline Along With Natural Gas, German Power

Carbon allowances in the European Union’s emissions-trading system, the world’s largest, dropped along with natural gas and German electricity prices.

EU permits for December fell 0.6 percent to close at 14.41 euros ($18.42) a metric ton on London’s European Climate Exchange. They are still trading above their 30-day moving average of 14.27 euros.
