Investors should pare their holdings of the yen if the currency doesn’t strengthen clearly above 85 per dollar, according to UBS AG.

The yen’s gains against the dollar are poised to slow as the Bank of Japan may increase monetary easing measures such as buying more government bonds, Syed Mansoor Mohi-uddin, a UBS strategist in Singapore, wrote in a research note today.
