Enel Green Power to Invest EU1.2 Billion in Italy, MF Reports

Enel SpA’s Green Power unit, scheduled for an initial public offering in October, plans to invest at least 1.2 billion euros ($1.5 billion) between 2011 and 2013 to boost renewable energy generation in Italy, MF reported, without saying where it got the information.
Green Power will invest in solar and wind power plants for capacity of 840 megawatts, MF said.
