BP Gets Investment Offers From Middle East Firms, National Says

BP Plc, which is struggling to control the largest oil spill in U.S. history, received investment offers from Middle East financial institutions, the National reported, citing informed sources it didn’t identify.

Proposals from the region had been made to BP advisers in London and a response was awaited, the Abu Dhabi government-owned newspaper reported. Middle East investors would also consider buying BP assets, according to the report.
