Four gorillas found dead in Rwanda’s Karisimbi area probably died of extreme cold, the New Times reported, citing Rica Rwigamba, head of tourism at the Rwanda Development Board.

The gorillas, a female and three infants, were found dead between May 16 and May 17, the Kigali-based newspaper said. Post-mortems are now being carried out to confirm what killed the apes, all of which were known to rangers and were named last year, the New Times said.
