OM Holdings Ltd., a Singapore based manganese producer, is in talks to buy a stake in an Australian mine from Ukrainian billionaire Gennadiy Bogolyubov’s Consolidated Minerals Ltd.

OM Holdings is considering whether there are “strategic, operating and, or, marketing synergies,” that could come from buying a stake in the Woodie Woodie manganese mine in Western Australia, the company said today a statement. Consolidated has an 11.7 percent stake in OM through its Stratford Sun Ltd. Unit.
