Deutsche Bank’s Eydenberg to Run LBO Banking Unit

Deutsche Bank AG promoted John Eydenberg to run the global investment-banking unit that finances and advises private-equity firms, succeeding Mark Epley, who is leaving to join Nomura Holdings Inc.

Eydenberg formerly ran the so-called financial sponsors business in the Americas, Deutsche Bank said today in an internal memorandum obtained by Bloomberg News. Scott Helfman, a spokesman for Frankfurt-based Deutsche Bank, confirmed its contents.
