June Havoc, a child vaudeville star whose long career as an actress, writer and director was often overshadowed by that of her sister, Gypsy Rose Lee, has died. She was either 93 or 96, depending on the source.

Havoc, who lived in Stamford, Connecticut, died yesterday, according to the New York Times, citing her caregiver.
