Enter The Jane Jacobs Award Contest Sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation

The Rockefeller Foundation sponsors the wonderful Jane Jacobs Award contest that recognizes people whose creative uses of the urban environment build a more diverse, dynamic and equitable city. So enter the 2010 contest by March 1.

There are two awards, one for New Ideas and activism and one for Lifetime Leadership and contribution. The award money is serious—$200,000 is shared by the two winners. As Rockefeller puts it: “Together the medalists represent the creativity, innovation and dynamism of New York City.”
