Macquarie Group Ltd. agreed to buy investment bank Fox-Pitt Kelton Cochran Caronia Waller LLC for about $146.7 million, the third North American acquisition by Australia’s biggest investment bank since May.

The price includes $130 million in equity and $16.7 million in long-term debt, Sydney-based Macquarie said in a statement. Fox-Pitt had about $170 million in revenue last year, according to a person familiar with the matter who declined to be identified because the figure is confidential.
