Bank of America Corp. and Grant Thornton LLP won dismissal of three lawsuits brought against them by Enrico Bondi, the chief executive officer of Parmalat SpA, and the company’s Parmalat Capital Finance Ltd. unit.
U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan, who is presiding over a series of Parmalat lawsuits in New York, dismissed the three cases today. In the cases before Kaplan, Bondi had sued Grant Thornton, which served as auditor for Parmalat, and Parmalat Capital sued Bank of America and Grant Thornton.
