Orangina Acquisition May Weaken Suntory Holdings, Fitch Says

Suntory Holdings Ltd., Japan’s third-largest brewer, may be weakened by an acquisition of European drinkmaker Orangina Schweppes, Fitch Ratings said.

“Such a major acquisition would weaken Suntory’s financial structure, should it be fully or mostly debt-financed,” Fitch said in a statement today.
