Indonesia’s benchmark stock index may rise a further 20 percent this year with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono set to win re-election and continue policies that have boosted growth, said the nation’s biggest fund.

The gauge may reach 2,400 to 2,500 by year-end, Elvyn G. Masassya, investment director at PT Jaminan Sosial Tenaga Kerja, or Jamsostek, which manages about $6.9 billion in assets, said in an interview with Bloomberg Television in Jakarta today.
