Quanta to Replace Ingersoll-Rand in S&P 500 Index

Quanta Services Inc., the biggest U.S. builder of power lines, will replace Ingersoll-Rand Co. in the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index.
Ingersoll-Rand, the maker of Thermo King and Hussmann refrigeration equipment, is moving to Ireland, making it ineligible for the U.S. benchmark, S&P said in a statement. The change will take effective at a date to be announced, it said.
