Ramirez as Face of the Dodgers Is ‘Overextending,’ Lasorda Says

Suspended outfielder Manny Ramirez isn’t the face of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Major League Baseball team’s goodwill ambassador Tommy Lasorda said.
“Who says he’s the face?” Lasorda said in an interview. “That’s just things they do for a ballplayer, but the face? I think that’s overextending.”
