ABC Adds 11 New Shows Including Courteney Cox Comedy

Walt Disney Co.’s ABC television network will add 11 new shows in September including the Courteney Cox comedy “Cougar Town” to run alongside returning dramas “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Desperate Housewives.”
The network will also add the new reality series “Shark Tank,” in which contestants pitch business ideas to a panel that includes New York realtor Barbara Corcoran. The show is from “Survivor” creator Mark Burnett, ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson said today in an e-mailed statement.
