Time Warner to Separate Time Warner Cable Through a Spinoff

Time Warner Inc. said it will complete the planned separation of Time Warner Cable Inc. through a spinoff that will give investors in the parent company some shares in the cable-television provider.
The separation is still expected to be completed this quarter, the New York-based companies said today in a statement.
