Kraft Foods Inc., the world's second-largest food company, agreed to pay $17 million to end a patent-infringement lawsuit filed by Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. over a coffee-brewing machine.
Kraft will make a one-time payment to license Green Mountain patents for brewing machines and filter cartridges, the Waterbury, Connecticut-based coffee company said in a statement.
