Thailand's Supreme Court issued arrest warrants for former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and his wife after they skipped bail and reportedly fled to the U.K. to avoid corruption charges.
The court confiscated 8 million baht ($237,000) in bail after ``the two defendants failed to show up,'' it said in a statement. The couple have flown to London, the Bangkok Post reported earlier today.
