Most U.K. stocks declined, led by homebuilders shares including Persimmon Plc, after the Financial Times reported large asset writedowns may be announced in next month's reporting season.

BP Plc and Royal Dutch Shell Plc advanced after Jeffrey Currie, head of global commodities research at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., said crude oil prices may reach $150 a barrel this summer.
