Coal producers gained after coal rose to a record in Asia and also advanced in Europe following floods in Australia and snow storms in China. Peabody Energy Corp. (BTU US) climbed 5.2 percent to $58.99. Consol Energy Inc. (CNX US) added 4.1 percent to $75.99.
