Quest Diagnostics Buys Testing Company for $420 Mln

Quest Diagnostics Inc. acquired the Swedish blood-testing company HemoCue AB for $420 million, to expand instant testing for patients outside a laboratory.
Quest said it will borrow to pay for the purchase, adding that HemoCue isn't expected to affect its financial results this year.
