Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY ) posted 39 cents, vs. 32 cents second-quarter earnings per share on 4.8% higher same-store sales and 15% higher net sales.

Darden Restaurants (DRI ) posted 44 cents, vs. 40 cents first-quarter earnings per share on 2.8% higher same-store sales and 1.5% higher total sales.
