Dick Clark Productions Acquired By Group of Investors

Danaher says it will not pursue the acquisition of Cooper Industries, plus more merger news

A group of investors led by Mosaic Media Group, Capital Communications CDPQ Inc., and Jules Haimovitz, a senior television executive, has agreed to acquire dick clark productions (DCPI ) for $140 million. Terms: DCPI shareholders will get $14.50 cash per share; Mr. Clark will get $12.50 cash per share. (2/14)

Smith & Nephew plc (SNN ) agrees to acquire Oratec Interventions (OTEC ) in a $310 million deal. Terms: $12.50 cash per OTEC share. (2/14)

Northwest Bancorp (NWSB ) agrees to acquire Prestige Bancorp Inc. (PRBC ) for $13.75 cash per PRBC share, or a total of about $14.7 million. (2/8)
