Millennium Pharmaceuticals Inc. (MLNM ) agrees to acquire Cor Therapeutics (CORR ) in a stock swap valued at $2 billion. Terms: 0.9873 newly-issued MLNM share per CORR share. (12/6)

Medical devices maker Medtronic Inc. (MDT ) says it has agreed to acquire VidaMed Inc. (VIDA ) in a deal valued at $326 million. Terms: $7.91 cash per VIDA share. The deal strengthens Medtronic's position in the urological market. (12/6)
