Semiconductor equipment maker Brooks Automation Inc. (BRKS ) says it will acquire automation systems maker PRI Automation Inc. (PRIA ) in deal valued at about $380 million. Terms: 0.52 BRKS share per PRIA share. (10/24)

Homebuilder D.R. Horton (DHI ) says it will acquire Schuler Homes (SHLR ) for $653 million in cash and stock. Terms: $4.09 cash, 0.570 DHI share per SHLR share, subject to collar. (10/23)
