Italian Scaglia Looks to Internet With E.Biscom

Silvio Scaglia, who helped turn Italian's love affair with their cellular phones into a $3.5-billion business at Omnitel Pronto Italia SpA, is now eyeing the Web as his next money-spinner.
The former head of Italy's second-biggest mobile phone company is targeting the Internet's popularity by raising money for his latest project, e.Biscom SpA, in an initial public offering expected later this month.
